About the Author

     RF Johnson spent twenty seven years in the United States Army and Reserves achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. The last fourteen years of that career he was privileged to have served as a Green Beret in multiple operations in Southwest Asia, Europe and Africa. From Mogadishu, Somalia to Amman, Jordan, Lieutenant Colonel Johnson was involved in multiple operations including the Gulf War and assignments with the Marines, Air Force, Navy and multiple foreign militaries. Mr. Johnson is a resident of Texas and attended the University of Texas. He is the proud holder of the Combat Infantry Badge and the Special Forces Tab.

Mr. Johnson is presently working on a sequel to Comes the Dragon.
    The next book in the Brad Hood series, Comes the Scorpion, which will take Brad Hood and the Texas Light Cavalry into the battle for Israel’s survival. The exploits of the Light Cavalry and its commander continue in this brutal and potentially world ending conflict. This book will be released in Fall 2011.
